Dean and I have been wanting to purchase a PAR meter for a while. We are tired of moving corals around hoping to have the correct light in the tank for each individual coral only to find bleached or poor looking corals a few days later. The PAR readings change so drastically from spot to spot. The problem is they are expensive. The question is would anyone else in the Club be interesting is purchasing a PAR meter for the club, that we can all share and use as needed? The new Appogee meter cost about $350 shipped. http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_...

The meter will cost about $350 so if my math is correct we are down to $58 each. I vote we wait for a few more people. What does everyone else think?
