Brad thanks for your help. Sorry It took me all weekend to get back with you.

The tank is a 48 gallon bow front type tank.

1. The lights are Power Compact. I believe it is a 96w White Daylight, and a 96w True Actinic bulbs. But I would have to check on the power rating again. The light is maybe to much.... It is very bright in the tank with both lights on.
2. The FS is about half way up from the bottom of the tank.
3. I do have some food that I add to the tank about once a week. I would have to get the exact name on it. I think it is a Kent product.
4. My water seems to be in good condition. I do 10-12 gallon changes every week with RO water. My PH is between 8 and 8.2. Nitrates are 0.2, Nitrites don't show really anything so maybe 0.1. Alkalinity is rite at about 300ppm. I use a test strip though, and maybe I am missing something. The PH I use a test tube though since the strip is hard to read with any accuracy. The temp is kept at 78 to 79.

I did move the FS to the other side of the tank this weekend were the flow was a little less, and then just had the Actinic light on. It seemed to come out a little better, but I'm not sure that I have given it enough time to see though.

Thanks again

I have multiple that are doing well. Let me ask you a few questions;
1. What is the lighting over where the FS sits?
2. How from from the top of the water is the FS?
3. Do you feed your LPS corals anything like Coral Frenzy?
4. Are all your water parametes good?(PH,Ammonia,Nitrates,Nitrites, Calcium, Alkalinity)

I agree Denzel. If you have time make up a flyer about the group and I will ask justin and the FishBowl to post it up for us.

Welcome to the Permian Basin group! I hope we can get a good network of Fellow Reefers in the area and help each other out and maybe do some tank tours.
