- lets put it this way, I do not have one speck of hair algae in my 75g as long as my tang and foxface are in it. Whether they are the reason why, or I jusy keep a clean tank, I do not know. But they help!

- Constantly evolving reef tank. 75 gallon display tank with a sump underneath. I've learned a lot of lessons the hard way and I'm still paying a price for trying to cut corners. I guess it's all a part of the learning experience with this hobby. I'd sum up my tank as this: A Work in Progress.

- I guess I'm getting older because I find myself going back to the classics. Jazz, Big Band, Blues, Soul, and just about anything from the Vietnam War era. Being a kid in the 70's & 80's I still have a certain attraction to that music as well. The only thing I can't stand is rap. Like I said, I'm getting older....Wiser is still questionable :-)

I just joined this site after searching another forum. I've surfed the members list and sent invites to my fellow Floridians. My goal is to establish a close network of "friends" for advice and possibly a trade or two. I'm on various online forums and I use the same screen name "Scootman". It's a long story, but it involves a lifelong nickname. Please feel free to drop me a note and I'm always open to suggestions or ideas.
