Alright, I went on vacation and forgot to mention this.
When I returned from vacation there was something new in my tank.
Smack dab in the middle of the sand in front. Waving it's little tentacles at me in defiance.
An Aiptasia Anemone! I've had my live rock for over 6 months with no sign of these invaders anywhere. I guess I grew him from seed. Which is why I couldn't kill it. I'm it's dad. NO! I didn't leave it in that tank. I put it in my mantis tank. And there it live

Well, it's been 1 month in the 55 up and running.
Looking good so far. Just activated the chiller last night. Outside got up to 100 and the tank got up to 84. The snails are appreciating the cooling trend. I think I almost made escargot.
The fish are all fat and happy. The corals are expanding nicely. Added 2 skunk cleaner shrimp just because I like their personalities. Lots of little beasties crawling out of the liverock. Almost all have been identified. 1 small pink blob of go

May 2nd.
Finally moved all the critters that were voted onto the island (aka not the damsels) into the 55 and out of the 30. Thanks to all the helpful peeps at Reef Sanctuary for keeping me from killing any more of gods creatures. Gary the goby is very happy I got it right. No one died in the transfer and the corals are going nuts for the halides.
I skipped the boring parts about diatoms, bryopsis that tried and the hair algae that never was.
