I now have a small "greenhouse" (or hoophouse, whatever you want to call it) in my backyard! this is for coral propagation in one system (125g) and raising a shark in the "sump" (which is a "pond" I dug in the ground) which is approx. 180g's in itself... that raises the grand total gallonage to (including all of the equipment) 330 gallons! I need some help with advice for EVERYTHING!!!! Especially on how I am going to make all that tap water safe to use so I don't get algae! I have an R/O unit b… Continue

I know it might be a overkill but I'm planning on putting 3 bubble traps in the… Continue

The current tank list is officially: 1 fresh water 90 with Bubba (a nearly 14 inch Midas), Cube (a 6 or so inch cichlid) and whatchamacallit (the un-named 15 inch Arrowana) 1 saltwater 90 with mostly snails… Continue

The powers that be have been resisting the course which has presented it's intriguing face to me ... Fortunately; it has finally receded to it's shadows ... and now before me sits a bunch of reef salt in my 90 gallon tank with about 75 pounds of live rock and 5 pounds of base rock :-)) and 90 pounds of some sort of sand which has turned my wa… Continue
