Danny and I have really similar hobby interests. We ordered a camera that followed Travis' photo guidelines (we hope) bought three different lenses and three different filters plus two tripods. Since Danny is a better photographer than me I'm letting him have first shot (literally) with the camera. I'm excited and am hoping these things improve our picture quality. I'm going to take the free online course that Travis linked as well.

I found a small gold lobo leather at the lfs today :-) (ok I might be worse than Danny at buying things for the tank) As soon as we put it in the tank it turned bright green.Danny said he'll return to his gold color after he climatizes. I hope so but if not the green color is nice too., Danny picked out a bubble mushroom and his friend that owns the LFS gave him a red mushroom with blue raise dots on it. REALLY cool. The tank is clearing. Things are looking up. The green star polyps are beginning to open after two weeks closed. I was pretty excited about this. Things are calming down. Zoos are opening that haven't been open for a while and our leathers are struggling to make a come back. The fish look happy again.

Been a busy two weeks. Last week we spent cleaning up the exterior and this week we repainted the girls room, put down a gorgeous new wood floor , built a bunk bed and all the while Danny is helping his son work on his "new" car. We are exhausted but the girls are here and absolutely love the room (insert ear piercing screams that only little girls can manage) . Makes every ache in my old arthritic body worthwhile. :-) Continue

We got a new flame angel, name is Blaze, and two new Hawaiian feather dusters. We surprised each other. I got him the flame angel and he got me the Hawaiian feather dusters. My 23 year stepson's birthday party is tomorrow and we've been working hard to get ready for his party. We have been finishing our house while living in it. Makes it tough. But it sure is rewarding. The rain hit and stoled a rental day on the bobcat. I am just going to go ahead with it though and fix the lawn I tear up later. While it was raining we got the girls room painted a bright blue.
