Well, it's been over a year since posting my last entry here.
Life is pretty much the same, save all the mammoth changes that have gone on.
My tank is now well established. The move from my 4yr old 55 to the new 120 went well. I had the 120 cycled for about a month before replacing 15 gallons from the 55 into the new every 2 weeks or so for about 1 1/2 months..... ok you figured me out, I'm anal.... hahaha!! So basically every water change from the 55 went into the 120. I was hell bent on not loosing the maturity of my 55.
As I stated in "time in a bottle" I have not add any new life to my tank. I am ready for that to change :) I haven't started planning for what I want, that is my next step.
I just returned from Kauai and made a goal to become certified for diving by this time next year. Snorkeling just isn't doing it anymore; firstly I can't hold my breath as long as I want to and second, the pressure in my ears when I dive down to get a closer look is intense! Soooooo, it would appear that my only option is to become certified :) I was in a tropical paradise in Kauai; the island was warm, lush and calm. I did not want to leave.
I will list my choices for coral as I figure it out
Till then ~
