lighting question
how high should i keep my light fixture above the water level? I am lighting a 24 inch deep tank with 2X250 DE halides with 2X54 T5 blues. keeping a reef tank from softies to lps to sps.

- I'm runnig almost the same light system you are (2x250 10K,4x65 CF acctinic) at 6" off the water and this seems to be working on a 30" deep tank. Just woundering if you are using 10k,15k..ect

- I've read that 250w MHs should be 8-10" off the water.
