I found this rather disturbing new money making scheme that some guy came up with. It's called the iPond which is an Ipod speaker that doubles as a (very) mini fish tank. It's so small that a fish can barely turn around inside and I think it's outrageous that this is being sold. Appearantly some animal rights group is trying to stop it, but they have sold out and people are going ga-ga for it (read the full story here http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2007/12/15/1197568324984.html)

Sure the idea is cool (as all Apple-type suff) but don't you think it's wayyyyy to small? You're right, it won't be around too long as it's been pulled from the shops already. I think they still sell it online.

Maybe I'll just get one of those fish tank screensavers on my iPhone

sorry, but I think it is kind of cool. My wife has a beta fish in a 10G tank but the fiish sits in one spot and only moves to eat so I don't think the fish would care. The idea is very inovative, but don't worry I doubt it will be around very long. these novaltie items are short lived.
