I do disagree with passing the bill but I don't think it would be as bad as the video makes it out. It states people can get permits for display aquariums, Just another way for the government to pull money from our pockets. It does state that they will have to prove the species can survive in the US before it is made illegal.
One of the squirrely things about the bill is the approved species list. It will not be made until 36 months after the bill passed.
I doubt this will pass. The pet industry is too large in this country. They will lobby big time against this bill. Still we all need to make the hobbyist aware this is out there and contact our representives and tell them to vote no.
